MoMa reminds me so much of another happy place of mine, Pompidou Centre in Paris and recently added to my top 5 favourite galleries/museums. I was lucky to get to experience Matisse : Cut Outs during my visit, which made me a HUGE Matisse fan today. It was also my first time seeing Frida Kahlo's paintings, and the most epic part of the trip to MoMa was seeing "Starry Night" by Van Gogh, that I have been hunting for throughout museums in Europe and even Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. It was so surreal and you can bet the song "Vincent" was playing in my head over and over while staring at the painting.
In these photos you'll see other paintings by Dali "Persistence of Memory" , PIcasso and another favourite Cubist Artist, Fernand Leger,Mark Rothko, Keith Haring, Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol and Jackson Pollock.
